"A" sent this....."I have started a project of sharing photos of my two years of combat helicopter flying in Vietnam 1967 and 1969"

 Good Morning,

Take a moment and visit my site this week

I have started a project of sharing photos of my two years of combat helicopter flying in Vietnam 1967 and 1969. I have finally started to scan the 3000 plus color slides and photos of those days and starting to share on each of my weekly blogs.

Share if you think worthy. I appreciate.

Hope all is well with you and yours.

Visit your site daily,
A.

  1. Good God, man! I can hear the igniters ticking as that Lycoming slowly cranks. I miss flying helos. 1985 to 2011, what a career, what an adventure. Went through training during the Reagan rebuilding years with 120 students every 2 weeks. Now it's maybe 25 or so a month from what I hear. Rucker is a ghost town as the salad days are long gone. Freq change to A. THanks!

  5. Thank you for that. I have great respect for Vietnam pilots. I flew Hueys, OH-58s and Blackhawks. Many of my IPs at flight school (1981) were Vietnam vets. The Huey was an awesome helicopter. Would love to hear all your stories.
