I've seen old films of logging in the Adirondacks, back in the late 1800's through the early 1900's. They would dump water on the trails to ice them up. That way those big picks would slide along rather easily. They would have cables attached to the skids and have mechanical brakes to control the decent. The horses also had cleated shoes, so they could have sure footed traction. I saw the presentation back in the early 80's, and have never been able to find it since.
Anonymous, are you saying that if we remove the horses from the system the sleigh will still move? That is, if F=PT/D and we make P=0, won't F=0? I ain't real good at mathelatin' so let me know where I went wrong.
Echo Hotel, I have no idea what the hell that Anon was saying. But everything moves all of the time, just too slowly to be useful. Kind of like curves slowly jiggling, just from breathing. Even after the theoretical heat death of the Universe, stray atoms will still move all alone in the blackness of space. They just won't accomplish anything. Sort of like me, sitting here on my ass on a perfectly good weekend. Anyway, if you type "F=PT/D" into a search engine, all of the top results will be about Medicare Part D. The dumbing down of society is clearly intentional. Perfectly good brains floating here through space on this old rock, but like those stray atoms, they just won't accomplish much of anything. Complete with ice, cleats, and brakes, but lacking in horsepower.
From the first with the young lady in blue with the popout boobs(I love those kind of gifs. There's just something about the mind set of a woman that is willing to share the awesomeness of boobs like that that make me smile) and the redheads, another magnificent assemblage of feminine pulchritude. Thank You. Have a great weekend.
Luscious melons on 48, extremely nice tush on 24 and nice camo nudity (the little thing around her waist but no cover below) on 26, nice older ladies at 9, 34, and 41, love the bathing beauties at 19 and 47, and especially the ladies of yesteryear.
I love the pictures of the grey haired ladies. I wish more women would let their hair turn grey. My ex wife's hair went from dark to silver in her thirties, and it made her even more beautiful.
As delightful as the images are, I am also reminded of a verse from a Bruce Springsteen song, 'You Can Look But You'd Better Not Touch, which goes as follows:
"Well I came home from work and I switched on Channel 5 There was a pretty little girly looking straight into my eyes Well I watched as she wiggled back and forth across the screen She didn't get me excited she just made me feel mean"
That team pull that in #105? I could see six maybe but two?
ReplyDeleteAnyway, and more importantly, CURVALICIOUS FFF! Danke schoen!

Horsepower is irrelevant when you have enough Torque.
DeleteAhh, ice, cleats, and brakes. Thank you Leigh.

The slightest deviation from horizontal appears catastrophic.

Danish barber Gun-Britt is perfect in gray.
ReplyDeleteAny idea on the hellish pic after the Jameson, with the wooden shoed dutchies crammed like rats in the boxes?
ReplyDeleteCoal miners I believe.
DeleteI found a link on Reddit. It’s titled Belgian coal miners packed on elevator. 1900.
