What Would You Play?

So many choices, so many genres. Late 60's 70s 80s and some of the new music I've found on Pandora.

Right now as I'm paging through my downloaded songs to grab one song to get the mood started tonight it would be:

(The lyrics Rik wrote speak to me.)

 ... and now it's cranked up :)

  6. Hi Irish!!
'I can Tell ya' bud.. The list is LONG.. But here's a few Top's!!

With current events being what they are..... here goes..

The Rolling Stones "Gimmie Shelter" pick a version early or late.. that 9 minute + live one is good!! .. Love playing that when I'm doing "Target Practice!!!!!"

Then being what it is, I dedicate this song to ol Slo' Joe and his!! "You Cheated, You Lied" by the "Slades" (1958)

Then come up a few years..... Pete Townsend and his troops... "We won't get fooled again!! you know.. the long version!!!

And since ol' "Slo Joe' is so slo... it's obvious... David Allen Coe wrote a song about him before we even knew who he was... "You don't call me Darlin'!!!!" Bitchplease!! He never even calls me by my name!!!... He can't remember it!!!!!

    and the Beat goes on>>>>>>>,

    1. Steve Goodman wrote a song called "You Never Call Me By My Name". David Allan Coe took it to the radio and jukebox.
