The Road Leading To My House
This fall was definitely an "Indian Summer". We've had a few cool mornings and a few brisk days, but the first frost that usually occurs by the second week in October was very late in arriving. North Alabama has had an abundance of rainfall this year (even in the summer) and our leave didn't die and turn brown on the limbs. We have experienced a very beautiful fall as the days became shorter curtailing photosynthesis exposing the wonder colors of the foliage. This picture was taken earlier in the week before the high winds have almost completely blown all the remaining leaves to the ground.
Are you sure you weren’t in NH. ??
ReplyDeleteHa! I'm positive Irish!
DeleteWe had a beautiful Fall this year. Got hit with one warm snow, but it didn't force things into Instant Leaf Drop like it did last year.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a good place to be.
ReplyDeleteNice!
ReplyDeleteLove Fall. We should be enjoying the scenery with the backdrop of a Trump victory. Still holding out SCOTUS hope, but not really expecting it.
ReplyDeleteWildly off-topic, but just wanted it to get out there as quickly as possible...
ReplyDeleteThe outfit that "certified" that the GA election machinery was "completely okey dokey" is Pro V&V. The same jackholes who were called out for being, shall we say, "less than stellar" in their performance. To wit:

I'm not sure how to post a hot link here (or if it's even possible), so you'll have to copy/paste the link into your browser.
BTW, this same company just refused to appear in front of the PA legislature to questioned about their "review" of the voting machines there, too. They "lawyered up", instead. Nothing to see here, folks. Move along, now.
Beautiful man! I'm happy for you. Love the winter down here in the Central Highlands. Work outside all winter - NO BUGS!!!
