the UN numbers were like 80,000 plus citizens killed this way.

Our Media was given a special right, the whole 1st Amendment thing, because they were supposed to act as the protector, preserver of truth. They were protected against a tyrannical government very specifically, so that they would be able to act as the foil, or brake against tyranny.
DeleteIn our case, the media and the 'news' teamed up WITH the tyrants. Instead of exposing their crimes to The People, they have used their power of the pen to hide the truth and cover up the crimes of the oligarchs and tyrants.
Were this one issue reversed, we would not be where we are today.
The first (and 2nd) amendment is critical to this function, it is the lynch-pin, and is being relentlessly attacked. WE THE PEOPLE must defend our rights, via arms if necessary. God has given us these rights, man has attempted to preserve them against other men. We are being called by history to act like men. It is time, the time has come, it is now.

Cia worked in Iran in the early 50's to overthrow their prime minister in favor of a more pro-American shah for a better oil deal.
In the 80's, they funded and trained afghans to fight the russians. And while they fought together as muhajideen, the old tribalist rivalries resurfaced allowing the rise of the taliban.
When the Shah of Iran was overthrown (when Carter withdrew USA support), we openly embraced relations with Saddam Hussain. 20 years later, we throw him tobthe curb, invade Iraq (more oil) and destabilize that country, all over a bunch of lies by one Ahmed Chalibi, an iraqi defector in Germany and a shitload of lies about wmd's and somehow, Hussain was protecting bin-Laden. (Saddam protecting a threat to his power? REALLY?!!)
But we did anyway, and gave rise to isis and al-qeada. (Thanks alot, Bush)
But not to be outdone, Barry Sotero gives money and weapons (litery by the jumbo jet full) to those assholes to overthrow Al-Bassar of Syria.

FrankP, you're talking tangible, but everyone else is talking pixels on screens. Debt is unlimited. More than 20 years ago it was estimated that the US gov't was MORE than $200,000 Trillion dollars in debt and the fact of the matter is, no one has been keeping account and no one actually knows the amount of debt. A whole lot of criminals and parasites need to cease breathing air.

Rather than Zelenskyy being an ungrateful brat about it, he should have been very humble about his situation. ReplyDelete1)ukrane wasn't going to join NATO. it had a 13% approval rating. they liked that we gave them training and equipment, but they weren't going to join.
2)there is no agreement that NATO wasn't going to go eastward. that agreement specifically says that we won't put bases in former east germany. period. and we haven't.
3)russia can say "stop" all they like. they have no veto power over the foreign policy of other nations. if those countries chose to join NATO, they were free to do so.
4)both russia and NATO have bases on each others borders, russia operates without restrictions in mexico, and has bases in cuba, venezuela, and nicaragua. and NATO has bases in turkey and has for a very long time. so as ar as "freaking out in 10 minutes" we've gone way past that.
5)the aegis ashore missile system was not installed until 2016, and it wasn't even in production during the timeframe he states. is he talking about patriot? that's a mobile system, and we can move it anywhere.
6)I have relatives in donbas. most of the "deaths by ukrainian shelling" were actually deaths by AK74 in the hands of russian spetsnaz, because they had a vote, and everyone one was told it was to be a secret ballot. well, the ballots were opened and if you voted to stay in ukraine they took you out back and put a 5.45 in your head and dumped you in a ditch. the evidence of shelling was usually on the russian side of the buildings. so unless ukraine has some sort of boomerang rounds that come and hit the backside of things, the shelling was russian. also they would show mortar shells as evidence, when the nearest ukranian unit was 3-4 times out of mortar range.
7)why would russia have veto power of the US putting defensive surface to air missile systems anywhere an ally asked us to come? if russia isn't planning on attacking those places, the existence of a missile system is moot.
8)ukraine walked away from not "neutrality" but "neutering". the russian demands were the complete surrender of every officer and NCO of the ukrainian military, to be transported to moscow for trial and execution. the same with every government official above dogcatcher. and then it was for complete economic and military control of ukraine as a puppet state. they could have no economic alliances or military alliances that moscow didn't approve of. all ukrainian shipments of anything must go through russia FIRST...shutting down all ports and requiring everything to be shipped into russia for "inspection" before it got shipped elsewhere. funny how he skips all of the rest of russia's demands, and how any sane man would walk away from them. and that was the point. russia thought they could win easily, so they wanted this to continue. a treaty didn't serve their purposes of creating a vassal state from ukraine.
