I'm retired, so now I get six Saturdays and a Sunday. I had a crush on Barbara Eden ever since she played Lt Cathy Connors in "Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea" in 1961. Full disclosure, I was only 4 when the movie was released, so I likely noticed her when it made it to TV a few years later. Of course, "I Dream of Jeannie" cinched it...
Barbara Eden was second only to Yvonne Craig as a childhood crush. Donna Douglas was #3 and Dawn Welles #4. Tina Louise did very little for me because I thought Ginger was too stuck-up. I also liked Tuesday Weld in "Dobie Gillis" and Annette Funicello in the reruns of the old Mickey Mouse Club.
There used to be a hole-in-the-wall hot dog shack on the way to New Buffalo Michigan that I used to frequent with the family. High on the back wall was a 8-1/2 x 10 B&W photo of Jeannie completely topless, in costume and in profile. An authentic cheesecake pic probably put out by the studio early on. How the owner had obtained it I will never know. Kept meaning to go back and take a picture of the picture but alas, the place closed down since and the image is long gone.
