The comments are interesting. I keep thinking about the Bible talking about the day of the Lord's return. It will be pretty tough for many as that day draws near yet people generally will be going about their lives as usual. The big event will be a surprise. That's the world today - most are mired in drudgery and self gratification and oblivious to the danger of greed and corruption. It's interesting watching the US from outside. It seems drunk on the power of the USD yet a large chunk of the people remain kind, moral and generous. Maybe it's the echo of the Christian roots. For all that I'm not hopeful - the slide is gathering pace and to meaningfully resist requires "conservatives" to be organized and led. The push back by a few brave parents at school board meetings inspires but is not enough. I'd like God to bless America but, as a nation, you'll need to respect Him first. I fear my own small country is already lost in its mediocrity but you have advantages like the Constitution - remember that?.
