♫♪♫ Something In The Air....♫♪♫

H/t to RB

 Call out the instigators
Because there's something in the air
We've got to get together sooner or later
Because the revolution's here, and you know it's right
And you know that it's right

We have got to get it together
We have got to get it together now

Lock up the streets and houses
Because there's something in the air
We've got to get together sooner or later
Because the revolution's here, and you know it's right
And you know that it's right

We have got to get it together
We have got to get it together now

Hand out the arms and ammo
We're going to blast our way through here
We've got to get together sooner or later
Because the revolution's here, and you know it's right
And you know that it's right

We have got to get it together
We have got to get it together now

  3. Irish, I used to love that song when I was a war protester and draft resister in the early 70's. Like so many of our fave tunes of the day, it was cut to 3 minutes for the radio, sometimes for brevity, as Magic Carpet Ride and sometimes for content, as with this one. Unless you were a vinyl junkie (guilty) you NEVER HEARD those lyrics in the 3rd verse.

    Could have been written yesterday.

  7. Mike and the Mechanics "Silent Running" also seems apt.

it's kinda like "yankee doodle"...meant to be something that pokes fun, but they missed the mark and it hits home.

  9. Teenage Jimmy McCullach playing guitar there. Prodigy kid died at 25-6 drugs. Shame.
