  2. It was a supercar rally in Italy. The Swedish couple in the red car burned to death in it, trapped, and the Indian couple in the blue car that pulled out and wrecked everybody fled the country. The couple in the motor home were hospitalized, no word on condition.

  3. Actually, they were stupid rich old people. Read about this a few days ago. One couple was killed in the accident. Some kind of super car road rally crap in Europe.

  4. I'm pretty sure an older Swiss couple died in that crash, yep went and found the article. They were trapped in the red Ferrari that burned.

  5. This endlessly frustrates me. Around where I live there are plenty of opportunities to take high performance driving lessons and get out and drive on a closed circuit and see how well you do against a clock and with professional supervision and proper safety gear. If you can afford one of these cars you can afford lessons and track time. You want to race go get on a track. These kind of people typically don't want to do that because it will show what idiots they are. End of Rant.

    1. A former boss of mine was a private instructor that taught on Laguna Seca. Based on his stories, you are correct about a high number of expensive car owners being idiot drivers.

    2. To be fair, "The Corkscrew" at Laguna Seca can turn anyone into an idiot. Turn hard left, drive off a cliff, turn hard right at the bottom of the cliff 🤣!

    1. I Googled it and 'golly' is NOT what that means! :-)

    3. "Arsch" is the clue that it doesn't mean that.

  9. Partial marks against the campervan, for having that much traffic build up behind them while blocking the road; should've made a good-faith effort to pull to one side and let the congestion pass.

But the high HP/low IQ car drivers FTW.

The couple filming it get high marks for backing off and waiting for the FO following the inevitable FA.

    1. Agreed about partial marks against the camper driver. Consideration for other drivers, it's a thing.

    2. Didn't look to be any shoulder for the campervan to pull over on, so maybe you're being a little rough there. As someone who regularly tows a travel trailer, pulling over to let people pass can lead to a whole lotta headaches, even with a decent shoulder to do so. I'm going go out on a limb and suggest the supercars were traveling above the speed limit and are 100% at fault here.

  10. It actually means “kiss or lick my ass”……south German or Swabish accent….

  11. There's a right way to have a column of cars pass somebody slower. It takes patience on the part of the drivers that AREN'T the first in line to avoid jumping out there and trying to pass without the lead driver being aware of what they are doing. This is what you don't see. Idiots, all.

  12. They messed up when they went three wide.
