One Man Did The Right Thing..

 Daniel Penny,

The lawyers have set up a GIVESENDGO donation for his defense

Good for them, I'm sure "go fund me" would have canceled one if they set one up there.

They have raised almost a million dollars for his defense.

 From the fund:

Daniel Penny is, a twenty-four-year-old college student and decorated Marine veteran, facing a criminal investigation stemming from him protecting individuals on a NYC subway train from an assailant who later died. Funds are being raised to pay Mr. Penny’s legal fees incurred from any criminal charges filed and any future civil lawsuits that may arise, as well as expenses related to his defense. All contributions are greatly appreciated. Any proceeds collected which exceed those necessary to cover Mr. Penny’s legal defense will be donated to a mental health advocacy program in New York City.

(My bold, I think this is a waste of money. It will be squandered and looted and not be used to properly address the situation of mental health in NYC.  They would be better off donating the extra proceeds to a veterans group that has a proven track record of helping those in need.)

  1. Excess will be grifted, err GIFTED to "Mental Health Advocacy" in NYC. Like the "Help" they give to the homicidal crazy with a long track record that our Marine had to stop.

Le sigh. At least the Marine will be given a decent legal defense in that liberal Courtroom, before the Feds start a new campaign against him for "violating the crazies (err victim) CIVIL RIGHTS" to abuse and attack NYC subway riders.

Ever get the IDEA that they are trying really hard to dissuade people from defending themselves and maybe even their families or something?

Naaah, back to beer and America's got talent.

  2. Those extra proceeds maybe can be used to help elect a republican mayor?

    1. Better spent moving Penny out of NYC, if not NYS.

  3. Why give anything to anyone in NYC? Agreed, veterans groups would be a better place.

  4. More are coming forward regarding attacks by Saint Moonwalk of the Subway.
Jury nullification is highly unlikely though in the glorious peoples republic of NY.
How bout that Great Society and one page says we all should have reparations for that cluster.
Read about protests in Chicago about all the replacements and the delicious snark from the writer about this is the transformation you voted for.

  5. How can we possibly think lawyers will leave any money on the table?

  7. This is not Kenosha, WI. He'll be convicted on the basis of race by a jury which is majority, if not 100%, black. Same as is going to happen to Trump. Burn it down.

  9. You can bet your sweet dippy that the DA will be on the receiving end on any monies targeted for "mental health". It's all a racket-from top to bottom and through and through.
