Guy in the hang glider is NOT an experienced pilot, nor even an INexperienced pilot. You always check your terrain before taking off, if for no other reason than to avoid unnecessary air/plant or air/ground interface problems. In other words, "Watch out for that TREE!" (George of the Jungle theme song playing here...)
