An old man down the road here still had a mule he "farmed" with. He alway planted about an acre of corn and was plowing around the edges to keep the weed down last week. It was 105, and that corn started popping on the cob. He didn't hear it, he was mostly deaf, but he did see it. He stopped the mule and they both stared at all that white popped corn out there, thought it snowing and froze to death. Funeral will be in a week or so after they get them thawed out.
The glass should be a bit broader in the beam.
ReplyDeleteAs should a woman.
$2.09 for unleaded? Where?
ReplyDeleteA distant past. Now only memories. They had "mean tweets" back then as well.
DeleteThat would be pre-FJB
DeleteWe were paying $2.09 for unleaded just a few days ago. Canadian money to boot. Oh right - that's $2.09 a liter.
