I was mowing the lawn and had my airpods on under my ear muffs. Yes, I said muff.
Anyway, Pandora was streaming different songs and this one caught my ear.
It made me stop the mower and grab the phone from my pocket to see who it was.
Internally my comment to myself was , 'no fucking way'. I should have recognized the talent.
Enjoy, if you have never heard this song.
I do not care for their vocals but I could listen to this all day
ReplyDeleteNot gonna lie when I saw the guys in jumpsuits I thought it was Ricky and Bubbles sneaking in!
ReplyDeleteRush and the Trailer Park Boys. One of the best episodes ever.
DeleteIt's been a tough go lately up here in the Great White North but this helps me remember why there's still hope.
I love this site.
Cheers cousin and thanks.
Yeah that episode was easily my favorite, but the entire seventh season with Sebastian Bach was probably their best..."Todays's getaway brought to you by the letter F...."
DeleteDaayuuum virgin for me on that one also.
ReplyDeleteWhich mower were you using, hahahaha.
It’s on my play it over and over like a mental patient list. Btw I had tickets to that concert but got stuck in Cleveland. My kid went with his buddies and said it was the best concert he’s ever seen. R40- 40 years playing together. Neil Peart died not long after.
ReplyDeleteCalm down, it's not like it's Helix or something!
ReplyDeleteI'm not giving anyone a damn R!
DeleteMust have been the tour before this that I got to see them finally as I don't remember hearing that tune.
ReplyDeleteNice find dude.
I consider myself lucky that I did finally get to see them live, had decent seats too.
RIP Neil, you are still missed.
x2 on rip neil, phil
ReplyDeletethat kind of talent is fading quick
Nope, hadn't heard it. But it has a lot of their signature elements in it, so I might have guessed if I had listened long enough. Very nice song, I like it 😉
ReplyDeleteAlex changed his guitar tone a bit on this one.
ReplyDeleteSeen them live several times, once with Primus opening, and they NEVER disappointed.
Fly high, Neal...you're missed greatly.
I liked the sign that said thanks for 40 years of sausage fest.... hilarious, and true, largely.
ReplyDeleteI miss Neil so much.
Mike in Canada
Oh, score, this one is new to me. I'd seen Rush maybe a dozen times live but not in 15+ years. Always an amazing show and this is going to make a great background track to play when I'm at work.
ReplyDeleteI loathe Rush, I have loathed Rush all my life, I expect to loathe them in Heaven or Hell after I die, I'd sooner listen to a drunk Mexican Mariachi band killing Chihuahuas with rusty, dull steak knives.
ReplyDeleteApparently musical tastes differ.
Daw them in 81 straight out of USMC boot camp. Never will forget
