It was re-released in 1969, and I took a girl to it over the Christmas holidays. I had met her in Ocean City, MD (yes, in the summer of '69), and this was our first real date. I laughed loudly and often, which she found embarrassing. However, she must have seen something she liked. We were married in January of 1974, and are still together.
Hi Irish, Thankyou, Thankyou, Thankyou!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There is one thing that obama and his mussyloids can never destroy and that is "Our" "American Humor!!!!!" We are not going to kill people and destroy property because some one made a funny movie,....we'll laugh about it and carry on. Somewhere I recall a line in some movie where someone calls someone else a bastard or something and the responce was,"Smile when you say that!!" As my old Air Trash Buddy John Bull would say,"I beg your pardon, I resemble that remark!!" He'd laugh and we'd pop the cap on another Beer!! BTW in the last clip when Frank Tallman flew that Beech 18 thru that billboard he had only 3 feet of clearance on each wingtip when he centerpunched the board!! There was an "I" beam on each side of the board for support!! Guess what would have happened if he was off center by 4 feet!
And to think all that was almost 50 years ago!! Time sure flyz!! BSBD, III%, skybill-out
One of the funniest movies ever.
