*The Fear of Friday the 13th
For a long time we have been told that Friday the Thirteenth was an unlucky day. It was a day that bad luck would visit; when things would go wrong. It was the day you would sprain your ankle or break your arm; when your face would break out with zits or the dog would get run over by a dump truck.
Why they told us these things when we were young has often made we wonder. I happen to like the number 13 - or wanted to like it. Peer pressure always had me agreeing that there must be something weird about the number 13.
Damn, I forgot. I should have stayed in bed all day.:)
