Now put laser grips on that sucker and watch folks wet themselves when it's pointed at them! Nothing like seeing that red dot to make a thug wet his pants...
@anon LOL thats cause it's not real. It's a gun from just cause 2. There is a real .454 magnum it looks different and there is almost no way a private citizen can own a grenade launcher. They are classified as a destructive weapon. You must pay 200 bucks for a class three weapons tax, register with the BATFE (buereu of alcohol tobacco firearms and explosives), because the ammunition is also classified as destructive weapons, you pay 200 bucks per grenade round plus the cost of the grenade round.
The only way around this, is to sign up into the military.
you can totally have a grenade launcher they are a tiny bit smaller so you can't load mil=spec grenades. they make smoke, cs gas, flash-bang, pepper and LTL rounds
It varies buy state, most states it IS completely legal to own a grenade launcher attachment and other single fire grenade launchers. They sell them online and I myself own one. You do however have to have a permit for Frag rounds... Smoke rounds are legal, a lot cheaper, and easier to find.
If you had a grenade launcher that you didn't pay a $200 tax on and the Colt M203s are at around $5,000.00 at the moment, you have a 37mm flare launcher. These rounds you can buy its much cheaper to make your own. The even make a 12ga adapter for the 37mm but if you fire anything other than a 12Ga flare, you've committed a list of felonies. There is no NFA $200 tax per round on the 40mm Grenades themselves either. It's a permit on must own that has nothing to do with owning the launcher itself. I saw a very clean M79 two weeks ago on an online auction/sale for $7,500.00. We had an M79 at my old department and I can say, I'd hate to be the guy lugging that thumper around 24/7. It is heavy. Like a tube in an M203. The tubes on 37mm flare Launchers would turn you into dog food if you tried to use that grade and that thin of metal to fire a High Explosive or similar round in it.
That ought to do it!:)
ReplyDeleteThe only thing that could make that more awsome is a flame thrower attachment!
