ReplyDeleteThe unstated problem for New York for Mamdani and his housing director and their ilk, and the only problem that will actually be "solved," is that the wrong people are in charge. If capitalism would put them in charge, they'd be full throated capitalists. If the Church was the path, they'd be all for theocracy (see Iran). Socialism (communism) is their chosen path to the top but it's a means, not an end. They will ride this horse to the end, believing that they (not the system) are the answer. The question is immaterial. In the meantime, they will be nicely cushioned from the hell they create until they aren't.
