    1. I disagree with you, Anonymous. I think you are wrong in your assessment of the Holocaust. I'm not going to try to convince you that you are wrong in this, because you have the perfect shield for your position: any evidence that I might produce to the contrary can simply be dismissed as "Jewish propaganda." But I am going to hold up a hand and say, "no, I think you are wrong on this one."

    3. My uncle while serving in WWII discovered one of hitlers camps in Germany. The only time he talked about it was to say, what I saw in the camp was far, far worse than what he saw in battle. He also earned two Sliver Stars while trudging through Europe. So, I know that the extermination of the Jews and many others is TRUE. That socialism of any kind in any form will get you to the showers, the ovens and the graveyards.

    4. UChuck: When conquered and occupied by the Allies in 1945, Germany had numerous work camps filled with hundreds of thousands of German Jews. If they were trying to exterminate them, they did a really, really bad job of it.

Fun fact: "Death camps" existed only in the parts of Eastern Europe conquered by the Soviets. No mention of their existence or activities existed before the Nuremberg trials began. Quite a coincidence, isn't it?

Fun fact: 3 million German civilians died of starvation or Typhus under the Allied occupation 1945-1947.

    6. my uncle was a Red Ball Express driver in europe. they were told to always be on the lookout for good staging areas and rest stops. coming back from a run somewhere on the french/german/belgian border he stopped at what he said looked like a college soccer stadium. he went in..figuring the soccer field would make a good spot to park the truck, and a secure spot for others to rest...and it was full of bodies in striped prisoners clothes. the people in there had been starved to death and stacked up, and the place was scorched like they tried to burn it but it didn't catch. he marked it on his map, told his superiors when he went back, and never was back in that area again.

  5. An excellent selection.

I do disagree on the Sowell quote.
The most successful polity lasted for over 1,000 years giving 'free' stuff to a parasite class.
That would be Rome and Bread and Circuses.
Now, if he had said "No republic..." I'd agree.
