  1. Talk about burning your bridges as a cargo company!

Read that it was all Indian crew with one Uke and they have collided before, in Belgium.
Deep Tinfoil pages say didn't someone veto Israel here recently.
The want Gaza because they already have the rest of the world.

    1. The current captain took over just a month ago. But, as you point out, the rest of the crew is Indian. This will probably end the captain's career.

  3. So prez potatos for brains said that the federal gov will pay for the rebuild.....Hm, it seems to me that the ships owners should pay for the rebuild

    1. That's what I was wondering. Shouldn't the insurer be responsible for paying for damages?

    2. The bridge need rebuilding now, the insurance fight.will drag on foe a decade. US taxpayers will pay for the bridge. Fed gov may get some money back in 2035. No one will go to jail for 6 deaths, billions in property damage, and unasessable losses for cargo and traffic disruption.
Ships captain is responsible for the seaworthiness of his vessel. If its not seaworthy he should have declined the slot. But the company would have fired him and found someone else, so he's worried about supporting his family... ultimately the ship operators are blameworthy, but they'll point to the captain's obligations.
Frankly im surprised that the bridge lacked the sort of protection that is on e.g.sunshie skyway bridge...there are some papers out there assessing the probabilities of exactly this.scenario.
I imagine the assessed risk was low enough that the protection costs were deemed not worth it....

    3. It's gonna take a while for Hunter to figure out what 10% of the total damage and repair cost comes to.

  4. Never attribute enemy action when sheer incompetence is a better explanation/cause.

    2. No better way to do it. Discredit your enemy's society while destroying their infrastructure.

  5. Seems straight up loss of power situation. Local Pilots onboard appeared to do what they could to slow the vessel down. The ship is as large as a Navy aircraft carrier and heavier as it appears to be loaded to the gills. Dropping the hook and backing down the main engines is standard procedure but at roughly 7 to 8 knots she's not going to stop!
This situation reminds me of when the Skyway bridge collapsed by a large ship in Tampa Bay, although there was heavy fog.
It will be quite a while for the investigation to be done, as well as getting the ship cleared, and the bridge wreckage cleared of the channel. I bet that the Baltimore Harbor will require Tugs to escort these huge ships through the bridges so that this doesn't happen again.

  6. its pretty obvious they draw from a global organization of agents and operators. of note is the repetitive nature of FF operations, same standard scenarios over and over like they have a playbook they always employ.
what this organization(s?) is called it appears it is more of a global network which performs many tasks for what is basically a world wide spanning group of literally organized crime families, bloodlines operating for centuries in some cases, so that provides the character of this global organized criminal underworld, they essentially have pretty much total control of the five key essentials of our age, it is control of the media, control of militaries, control of food production, control of governments, control of transportation, for they must control all these things, naturally, otherwise they would never have developed their system of power.
but some kind of key events have altered this global cabals power, mainly the money is run out, because almost every western country is bankrupted running on fumes and money printing. so the next target for sizable take is the financials sector. only remaining amount of un-stolen wealth worth going after. in our western hemisphere that is.
the primary method would be to crash the US dollar setting off a chain reaction where they skim off the remaining wealth.
an interesting event took place in 2007 which has totally influenced what has transpired since, in a nut shell access to the system of allocation of new money, meaning actual sovereign wealth backed currency, was denied. this included all tier one central banks, effectively, highly effectively, forcing this cabal to seek other forms of money to keep the lights on. you see them all the time. outright theft of small and large crypto, seeming random theft of private depositors accounts, spread out across the world, siphoning off pennies from all depositors, almost no one notices pennies nickels and dimes missing, multiply that by 300 million, lot of cash flow there, thee is a thousand and one way to achieve the vast monies required, from human/child trafficking, organ-legging is a huge source, (one of many uses the war in Ukraine, organ legging is huge, with an endless supply of donors to choose from).
these are extremely wicked families, they maintain a pure line going back many generations, it is thought one bloodline goes back to king solomon, imagine how entitled these actors are, how they see us as slaves, we hardly exist to these people, anything goes there are no limits to the things they have done to us.

  7. 40 years ago, only about 5% of all cargo ships were US bottoms. It may be less today. US registry requires Coast Guard licensed crew. US ships are inspected by Coast Guard. More crew is required. Today with low speed diesel propulsion crews are minimum staffed. Looked like the lights winked out. Like a breaker did its job. Not enough crew to handle regular maintenance or emergency actions. Foreign crew, language problems.

  8. Biden is incompetence personified. As a bonus he is completely corrupt and compromised. Insalled to take the blame for the planned destruction of America.

Effectively an expendable bumper, to spare the much more valuable infrastructure, and especially any lives at risk w/o it being in place.
