It's showtime folks and we're going to need a bigger boat. So happy when I found out Roy wasn't small hat. I love that Andy Griffith "that's a good cracker" Ritz commercial from 1977. Quint had a good squint.
The Buccaneers was one of my favorite shows when I was a kid. You really wanted to go off and be a pirate. Not too many wenches, but lots of buckled swash.
Robert Shaw was a playwrite as well and wrote several parts of the movie Jaws, the USS Indianapolis scene for one. No doubt he used his previous acting skills of old sailor songs to build up the Quint character.
