OMG. That was hysterical. I'm surprised they let him stay on air. He was just voicing what I have been for years. Every time somebody gets arrested, they send some slob out to announce it live in the dark in front of the jail. Same with bad weather- send somebody out to stand in the rain. What's the point of it?
C'mon people. A) Staged. Hilarious, by design. B) Had it been real, they would've had "technical difficulties", and cut away in 0.2 seconds. C) The news is entertainment. Has been for years. They got you to watch the most boring thing on there - the weather report. All the way to the end. About snow, in Denver. Newsflash: That happens a lot there. D) Great break of the 4th wall to let the audience in on the gag. And spice up something the government does on radio, 24/7, nationwide. E) Spoiler alert: Gilligan and the Castaways aren't really stranded on an island in the Pacific either.
I fell for it - thought if it was satire it’d have been better rehearsed. Bur my son’s more skeptical than I am. He was rght, https://m.youtube.com/@johnbcrist
On a WAG, (wild assed guess) this dude may be heading to a different city to be the weatherman.
ReplyDelete120 Grand for a college degree? musta been one of those cheap colleges...THAT's why he's so upset...
ReplyDeleteYep. Time for the weatherman to update his resume and look for a new job with more intelligent co-workers.
