Yeah, I was going with an off duty or retired cop. The pit maneuver was too smooth. Then the quick glance to see that the driver was going to walk away.
I knew a guy that drove DIRT Modifieds that could spin you so quick and smooth, it wasn't funny. He was so good at it that not only did it look like YOU lost it, but even you thought you lost it. He used that maneuver if he couldn't pass you. I was never that subtle about it. If I wrecked you, it was because you tried to wreck me and I wanted to make sure you paid dearly for it. Otherwise, I gave back positions I gained by the bumper. I wanted to be raced like I raced them.
Southbound bridge of the Lake Pontchartrain Causeway... you got it! There's no shoulder other than a few crossovers and pull-off locations. Other than that, there's railing and water.
I used to drive one of the slower circle track type cars. So cars behind me would constantly tap my back bumper. As long as I didn't touch the brakes and stayed in the gas they could ram me and not spin me out since the rear was still driving. The green pickup touched his brakes when he turned into chicken finger. Into the wall he went as his brake lights were on. Chicken finger could have stayed on the gas and pushed the guy sideways for a good stretch and had the pickup drivers full attention.
