Don't know 'bout you guys (and gals???) but there sure seem to be a lot of teevee commercials for lawyers specializing in Big Rig Accidents. Might just have something with driver shortages and (not sure on this one) lower standards for new drivers.
Enough Skill to take advantage of that lucky break when the tractor kept rotating and the cement wall ended and the other one was a lane away. Perfect.. If he clipped his truck a little, he might just take the money and keep the wrinkle as a conversation piece.
My question is...what was happening in front of that semi that caused him to lock 'em up? Could be the guy in the pickup may have avoided the frying pan and plowed straight into the fire.
Took several screenshots and it seems there is a car straddling the lanes directly in front of the Avalanche (and in front of the semi). There are others farther ahead but not sure if they are moving, in the process of having a smashup, or stopped. Have the eff-bee-eye get the license plate number of the Av from their snoop camera, tell them the Av driver is a MAGA guy and the incident will be widely reported.
I bet there's some pinch marks in the Avalanches drivers seat. Commit, stab it and steer it.
ReplyDeleteThere are either pinch marks or a brown stain!
DeleteThe worst part of it is, I think he clipped that rear quarter panel too. After all that driving. I guess it could have been a lot worse. LOL
DeleteOn the one hand, I want to say luck. But the driver made a quick decision given very limited options and remained calm enough to get through it.
ReplyDeleteI would drive directly to the nearest gas station and buy lottery tickets.
ReplyDeleteI'd only buy one.

ReplyDeleteOr the fact there are so many new drivers.

ReplyDeleteBet he/she browned their Bermudas on THAT one! I know *I* would have...
ReplyDeleteProof that it is better to be lucky than to be good any damn day of the week.....
ReplyDeleteI could do that if I had his talent and luck.

DeleteImagine the collective pucker factor...jeez.
ReplyDeleteMan, I hope those truck drivers don't get kicked outta the Million Mile Club. That was close.
ReplyDeleteIn the words of Kinky Friedman: 'Jackknifed that son-of-a-bitch slicker than owl shit.'
