When they were building I27 back in the late 70's, we had 3 of those accidents happen. All were southbound. Two were on the new overpass on the north end of New Deal. One trucker was empty. He flew across the gap and speared the concrete embankment. The second one was heavy, and he fell in between the overpasses and landed on it's side. The third one was up in Abernathy. The underpass wasn't finished, so they had traffic exit and go down the access road. This produce hauler was booking, and flew off the left side into the bridge/underpass. The cab fused with the trailer and fell down into the unfinished main lanes. I think there were two in that one.
