Heh, I remember one of the skits with Junior Samples doing the car dealer thing (the number to call is BR-549!) where she was the mechanic. When she dismisses what he says and walks off he looks after and wistfully says, "I wish I had what she needs..."
I don't remember much about the show, but I do remember her as Maid Marian. Misty also had a few appearances in "Happy Days" as a carhop waitress. Who could forget her 1977 Playboy appearance?
I graduated high school in 1978, so I was a senior in 77. And there were so many totally gorgeous young ladies back then, it was amazing. It is a good thing that there was no internet back then, or I never would have left my house. And I also remember Misty as Maid Marian.
I think I commented on this before but I once had a friend who was in the movie distribution and promotion business who actually got to have dinner with Misty once and he said she was absolutely charming and really put a lot of work into her craft. A rare combination of beautiful and funny.

ReplyDeleteMe too, Junior!
To qualify on heehaw you had to put your hands behind your head, walk up to a wall and not touch your elbows. She passed. What a beautiful lass.
ReplyDeleteOne of my major crushes in the 70's. Gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteThank you!

I used to love her on a short lived comedy called "When Things Were Rotten". She played Maid Marian to Dick Gautier's Robin Hood......

DeleteI guess maybe I should have watched Hee Haw when it was on. Stunning. Nemo
ReplyDeleteAlmost never watched Hee Haw, but I knew her from all the TV she did.
