The insanity continues

For all the fans who waited with devotion to the sport, this is how the Yankees and Nationals chose to welcome the faithful back on opening game day. It isn't enough that these guys get paid huge sums of money to play a sport. The majority of them, like the Hollyweird crowd, have to be interject their opinions as "social experts". The video below sums up how I feel about these asshats. Simply substitute "these" for "this" and make "guy" plural.

  1. It's OK.

People have learned they don't need pro sports, anyway.

    1. I believe you are right edutcher. I love a good contest as much as the next man. There was a time I kept up with pro-football, NASCAR, and some professional baseball, and college football. I was never a fanatic, but I enjoyed following and an occasional bet. I gave up completely on the national felon league decades ago simply because the MSM glorified thuggery. I lost interest in NASCAR when they started to race the Ford Taurus, Toyota's, etc. I was done completely when they decided to ridicule their fan base and started their campaign of political correctness. Then college football picked up where the NFL left off with the glorification of black crime heroes, etc. There was a time when those four sports were as American as apple pie. Not anymore. I cannot for the life of me figure out why professional athletes, actors, celebrities, etc. think they have to be experts in regards to cultural affairs. It seems like once they achieve a level of fame and money they contract diarrhea of the mouth spewing forth their ignorance. Also, why is it these idiots almost always take the side of the anti-american, liberalism, freaks, far left, etc.?

    2. Should have added this earlier:

      Done

I didn't serve my country for 3years, 4 months and 18 days to have a bunch of multi-millionaire, so called, athletes disrespect our country, our people, our flag, our national anthem, and my brothers in arms who allowed these ingrates to pursue their happiness, while a lot of my brothers died to preserve a system that allows them to compete at the highest level of their chosen sport and pays them a lot of money to do it.

At no other job in this country would the owners and managers of a company allow this disrespect to take place at their workplace.

Fuck these ingrates. I'm done with sports.

  3. Where have you gone, Joe DiMaggio?

  4. Yeah, football really started going downhill for me several years ago (due in part to my team sucking ass)... but the whole of professionsl sports, really is dead to me.
We'll see what the NHL does, maybe I'll watch hockey. The rest? Can go suck a bag of dicks, far as I'm concerned.

  5. Without the overpriced tickets and revenue from the severely overpriced concessions baseball is in a death spiral financially.

The "virtual fan" that is going to be superimposed in the stands is insane. Ice Hockey is the only professional sport left that I will watch and they are on thin ice.

  6. Guess I won't be watching Baseball this year... And if I do happen to see any by accident, I sure the hell won't be buying any of their sponsors products...

  7. Didn't watch. Won't watch. They wanna kneel?
    Buh-bye, losers.

  8. I only watched a video to see if every player would comply and bow before their master. They did. It was the only sport I would occasionally watch anymore, I am done. It just shows that they are all mental p#%^&*s and worship the almighty dollar idol. I know where they are all going. If college baseball does the same at any time. I will watch only the horse races until they screw the pooch. Nothing better than seeing one of God's creations airborne in half of every stride and even better to fell the experience not racing just going wide open when I had the opportunity. May God open the minds and hearts of these poor soles.

  10. I see it as Lemonade. Kneeling/COVID19 has completely unburdened me of any desire to watch professional sports. Agree w/Tsquared re Hockey. The relief I feel is exhilarating. Won't even watch NASCAR after the whole Noose shitshow. Try some of the extreme sports on Netflix. Very cool. I also have plenty of time now to catch up on some reading.

    1. When I get back home from my mission, I have GRBL to learn and some 3-D woocarving to do. Not much to see on the Boob Tube any more, and I'm gonna drop Fox News like it's hot if they even THINK of getting rid of Hannity, Tucker, Jeanine, or even lowly Gutfeld.
I try to use MY dollars as a weapon against them.

  11. I am just pissed off that I gave up pro sports years ago and cannot give them up again. College football is sliding in the same direction and I will lose interest in it, as well.

  14. What these yahoos haven't figured out is that once people are separated from a sport for a while they realize how little the sport actually matters. Nothing those guys do on or off the field has any effect on me and mine. I can't think of one World Series or Super Bowl championship that changed what I did the next morning. I'm certainly not spending any money or time on something that inconsequential.

    1. My favorite super bowl activity for many years was to go flying. I had the sky to myself, and even the guys at ATC were so bored they were friendly and chatty.

  16. I never watched NFL or NBA. Now I no longer watch MLB or NASCAR.

Insanity barely begins to describe this Charlie Foxtrot....

  17. Playing in an empty stadium. Bizzare.
More bizzare are the fools having tailgate parties in areas around stadium, watching the boobtube in the back of a truck.
Slaves gotta have their games to be part of something.

  18. f..k MLB, these idiots think that we care about their opinions? They play a game for a living. They are grossly overpaid and under-educated. Already dumped the nfl and now mlb and the nba as well. Will stick with the college game for a little while and see what the idiots in charge do there.

  19. No Sports anymore Ever. Fenway putting up the Big BLM sign capped it for me. I escaped the shit hole known as Mass. a decade ago. Best choice evah!! But still followed the home teams. Shunned NBA decades ago, NFL with the Crapanik crap and MLB with this display. Im sure the NHL will disappoint soon as well. Better things to do than watch entitled crybabies tell me how to think. f them all.

  20. My last hope for all pro sports (I hate hockey) is the ATL Braves. If they go down the BLM rat hole, I will be done with all pro sports and the Olympics. I'm on the fence with college.
