Ol' Remus of The WoodpileReport has passed away.



 Many of us have visited The Woodpile Report each time Ol' Remus posted. I know there were concerns recently that he had gone quiet. Both Phil and Kenny have info about his passing. Many of you visit the same circle of blogger friends so I'm sure you will see more posts about this sad news.

    Remus was an exceptionally smart man. I was always WOWed by his insight. A great loss to freedom.

    I felt this way when MBV passed on. Irreplaceable. His unique insight and wisdom, needed now more than ever, will be sorely missed.

    I was saddened to read about his death. Remus was smart and articulate, and put into words what many of us couldn’t. He will be missed.

    He was one only five web pages that I watched regularly and one of the best.He was probably near my age(82)and he was able to get info that would found. Truly a great chronicler fr our times.Glad that he did not have to see the truth of his p.o.v come true.Dose any one know his name ,and did he have children? I will miss him very much!!
