We forget just how much talent there was behind that cheesy pop facade.
The Carpenters were the King and Queen of overdubs back then...and very successful at it in their studio albums...
Can't bring myself to listen to that...stuff,to put it nicely. I'm more of a Led Zeppelin kinda guy.
