  3. Y'all realize that the lipid hypothesis was disproven years ago. Fats you consume do not clog your arteries directly. Heart disease and diabetes are much more highly correlated with carbs than with fats. The least healthy thing on that breakfast plate is the bread. Thanks corporate-sponsored govt food pyramid for telling us to eat lots of grains.

    1. 100%agree. My best weight loss was on a ketogenic in diet. High fat moderate protein and lo carb. I followed jimmy Moore and Mark Sisson. It's not easy and takes time to get your bidy adapted. I need to get back on track for sure.

  4. Just curious, what do you call the egg/bread combo in the first picture? My mother called them 'Guy Kibbies'.

    1. Poached egg on toast was called "Dropped eggs" by my grandmother. I've also heard them called eggs on a raft. Egg in a basket is when you cut the middle of the bread out and cook the egg in it. 😁
