HELLO WASHINGTON AND LIBTARDS EVERYWHERE! WE ARE NOT AUSTRALIA AND WE HAVE THIS DOCUMENT CALLED THE BILL OF RIGHTS!
The second amendment guarantees the right to keep in bear arms. Many liberals and other politicians would like the American people to believe that the second amendment's purpose was for the citizens of this country to be able to defend their homes, hunt game, and be available to aid the militia if one ever needed to be raised. I imagine all of those things were in the minds of the framers of the Constitution, but the paramount reason was for the citizenry to be able to keep tyrants from abusing the power of the federal government and imposing unjust measures on the citizenry. The theme is documented over and over in the writings and recordings of debates during the ratification process before all thirteen colonies agreed to be part of "These United States". Today many who hold offices and positions of power within the government attempt to portray firearm ownership for hunting, collectors, or personal protection. I believe there are some who are actually naive enough to believe this silliness. Still, I believe the vast majority pretend to be ignorant of the real reason the right to keep and bear arms was and is such an integral part of this country's form of government. There are several reasons many in government and their communist minions desire to curtail firearm ownership. One of the reasons is they fear retribution from the citizens in the event they do not follow the Constitution as they should, but the primary reason is control. Once the general public is disarmed, they are at the mercy of the masters who are armed and hold power over them. Not to sound cliche, but the list of regimes who implemented gun confiscation programs and the victims who died as a result of surrendering their firearms in the last one hundred and twenty five years is very long (Russians under Stalin, various groups of Europeans under Hitler, Armenian Christians, Cambodians under Pol pot, etc). On Monday the U.S. Circuit Court appeals took a step closer towards tyranny being able to control lives of Americans with their decision to uphold the Safe Act in the state of New York. If one thinks confiscation can not happen here, one might want to rethink what is driving this campaign of "gun crime is on the rise", "policeman are being assassinated", "gun violence is on the rise", etc., who is behind these lies, and what the long term goal is. What makes people believe scenes such as this one (very graphic) cannot played out in These United States?Jeffery
Well I hate to say this but those morons up there are letting them get away with it. Plus, I think most people do not have a clue why that provision is in the Bill Of Rights.
Gee, thanks Falcon... So what state do you live in, so that we can blame you for the tyrannical actions of your politicians?
Contrary to popular belief; myself, nor no one I know, voted for the sonfoabitch. The FSA in the urban centers voted his ass in. Did you know he was the architect of the housing collapse? His policies as the director of HUD set about the whole housing bubble - but you'll never hear that on the MSM, We also contested his illegal decree BEFORE it got rammed through. Not that it mattered.
Now, look at the compliance numbers cited for this travesty to liberty: 3 to 5 percent. And I think that number is a bit high. The good people of New York have withdrawn their consent in regards to this matter with a hearty Fuck You to Albany, NYC, and Baby Friggin' Mario. It is an illegal law, and they know it. The Supreme Court knows it, yet they are bought and paid for political appointees doing the bidding of their masters. Supreme Court rulings are just that : judgements - they are not law.
Some of us do know our history, and why the Constitution says what it does. We even have read the thoughts behind the founders intentions about the Constitution. I think this quote of Jefferson's sums it up nicely: “Every law consistent with the Constitution will have been made in pursuance of the powers granted by it. Every usurpation or law repugnant to it cannot have been made in pursuance of its powers. The latter will be nugatory and void.” Thomas Jefferson
I owe you and other people in New York an apology. I am now tring to get my foot out of my mouth. I went off the deep end just way to fast on this after I read who voted on this in the Circut Court. If you must know I live next door in PA. Again Sorry.
As I do you, Falcon. I may have over reacted just a tad there. You aren't wholly wrong in your assessment, there is a lot that is F'd up with this state. Blaming everyone here though is like painting all gun owners as criminals, when in reality it is a very small minority that are to blame. After a while, you get sick of people associating the whole state with NYC and the low life's that infest it. Being from PA, you have certain areas that bring shame to your state as well. Those that are an embarrassment to you and the rest of the good people in it. Unfortunately, New York has a higher concentration of Coastal Socialist scum-bags. Albany probably wouldn't be a half bad place it it wasn't for the shared life-blood with NYC.
Now check out this map - http://www.politico.com/2014-election/results/map/governor/new-york/ How that bastard Cuomo won the election, when most of the state was for Astorino is a matter of population density. Syracuse/Buffalo/Albany/NYC carried him - with I'll wager 60-70% of his votes coming from NYC. You can be assured that oba-Mao carried the same counties.
As for the Supreme Court ruling - Once again we have justices performing gymnastics of non-linear reasoning to achieve a wholly illogical, immoral, and Constitutionally illegal conclusion. A conclusion based on activism, not in law. Bob Owens outlines it a lot better than I could: http://bearingarms.com/judge-cabranes-beclowns-assault-weapon-ruling-invites-impeachment/
I harbor no animosity or ill will towards you, Falcon. We just need to keep the enemy in our sights, not to muzzle sweep our friends, and be mindful of what is down range.
The ironic part of the film clip is whom they are executing. The very people that helped bring about Communism, are the ones being dumped into trenches - their usefulness had come to an end. They probably all thought they were being such faithful servants of the State. Such is the fate of useful idiots.
I'm sure that "It can't happen here", was a common phrase in pre-War France, Germany, Austria, etc, etc.... The current crop of Statists in this country are pushing hard to twist and strip every liberty we have left away from us. Whether it be through Un-Constitutional laws, invalid treaties in violation of the Constitution, the destruction of our economy, censorship, intimidation....the list goes on and on. Yet they have not tried to push their end game, because they have failed to disarm the American people - so far. You've seen how one or two people can tie up hundreds of the state's enforcers, and cripple entire counties - now imagine hundreds of thousands, Nation wide striking back. No, I'm sure our betters know full well what can happen, and why they seek to disarm us. To quote the hero of so many of our politicans: One man with a gun can control 100 without one. -- Vladimir Ilyich Lenin
You saw the Statists make excuses for the Nazi's Holocaust just to assassinate Ben Carson's character. Encourage more of that. Make them overplay their hand.
Good points all. All sins forgiven Falcon. ;^) Thanks for stopping by and for the record, I am with you Island Bob! I saw this excellent piece over at Western Rifle Shooter's Association.
“…This distinguished race of men are more savage than the Indians, and possess every one of their vices, but not one of their virtues. I have known … these fellows (to) travel 200 miles through the woods never keeping any road or path, guided by the sun by day, and the starsproud to be descended from such pioneers who settled into Appalachia and I know many people who are this stalwart and determined today! by night, to kill a particular person of the opposite party….”

I believe that is correct. I have seen clips of it in different languages and sub-titled in English. I first saw it several years ago on a WWII discussion list to which I belong and sent to Wirecutter (titled as "This Is How They Do It). I know Matt Bracken has posted it a couple of different times. It is a very powerful scene and conveys very well how unarmed people are helpless. Since, I have read the Russians have dealt (and still deal) with spies and other enemies of the state in this manner ( a couple of guards walking the person to be killed down a corridor with their hands bound and the executioner is walking along with them in the rear unexpectedly shoots the person in the back of the head). Of course, at Katyn, the massacre went on for quite some time and their were situations where multiple persons were lined up in remote areas forced to kneel and shot in the back of the head.Shot placement and the caliber of the bullet was the tell-tale forensic evidence that pinned the killings on the Soviets (who had initially tried to blame the Germans). The bottom line is when folks are disarmed they are subject to the whims and desires of the people who do possess such arms. ;^)
If anyone thinks that there are not enough quislings in what once was the U.S. to carry out such things, they are sorely mistaken. That video clip accurately portrays what is, and has always been, the end outcome of any unarmed group of people under the sway of tyranny.
A lot of police and soldiers will carry out illegal orders. It happened in New Orleans under a Republican president and supermajority. There will be those who do remember their oath but they will not be the majority.
However that is not the biggest threat: the US is a big country and there will be the occasional soldier or policeman who hands over the keys to an armory then looks the other way. The biggest threat is that politics splits families. It will be the wife or husband with an axe to grind or the indoctrinated school child who is taught to inform. The political establishment and their media propagandists are good at maximizing anger and hate, and those destroy objective thinking (including such basic facts that family should come before politics).
Russia, and relatively, Poland are also large countries. Not so much Poland, but Russia is 3x larger than the U.S. ...and that's only landmass. Our quislings are more likely armed with more than one bullet.
The factor that favored the CCCP was the Russian cultural tradition of favoring a strong leader. Even today many Russians loved the strong man who can bring them national pride more than they love freedom and even today they still tolerate it. Russians also have a strong bias toward legislated, national morals. Behaviors that are seen as self indulgent were frowned upon, doubly so during the CCCP's reign. Even today some of this cultural collectivism remains.
In the United States, the progressive machine has turned unconventional behaviors into false group identities to build up popular support. Collectivism requires its members to elevate the cause above personal needs and desires, fatalistically if necessary. The machine is only now beginning to realize their error: America is becoming more libertarian not "liberal" (sic). The machine is working hard to split personal bonds, and its effects are beginning to be seen, but it is not too late to stop it.
The US has a lot of land compared to a military that has been continually downsized, and the police are even less prepared logistically to fight a protracted ground war. Manufactured "wars" and causes (women, men, terror, 99%, black lives matter, etc) and mindless populism is the only way they can realistically maintain control.
Well I hate to say this but those morons up there are letting them get away with it. Plus, I think most people do not have a clue why that provision is in the Bill Of Rights.

My favorite stolen quote is, "Only my enemy wants me disarmed."
ReplyDeleteSo true. It is the perfect acid test for any politician. How they view my absolute right to own and carry weapons reveals their nature.
The video is obviously professionally produced. From which movie was it clipped?
ReplyDeleteThere is a movie simply called Katyn from 2010 I think.
