Another plus is when you have the county building inspector show up for the certification. One look and they turn around and tell you they have seen enough, you pass.
I have something similar in the basement of my cabin up in North Carolina. I didn't do the wiring, but the guy who owned it before me did all new wiring, plumbing, refinished floors, new walls, fixtures, and pretty much everything else. The attention to detail is immaculate. Most of what he did he learned from Lowe's "How to" manuals. He was a machinist /metal worker before he retired. The only place he scrimped was with the roof - he used cheap materials and I will need to replace it in 5 to 10 years and it is only about 5 years old. The place was 95% complete when I got it. I finished up the heating/air and the front bathroom. The only thing left is I need put a rail up the stairs to the second floor deck that is also rail-less.
I would love to see that kind of workmanship. It would make any kind of future work or trouble shooting so much easier!

Having a degree in Electrical Engineering, that is pretty, I wish all techs and Electricians did this kind of work...
ReplyDeleteThat is a beautiful installation and whoever did it is a master electrician.
