Courtesy of Taiwan we get to see the first footage from the remake of Total Recall, the 90′s sci-fi action film starring Schwarzenegger. Colin Farrell stars with a solid cast including Beckinsale and Bill Nighy and it would be good see an attempt made at something smarter than just big set pieces in the future. With the success of Inception and Source Code, this has all the ingredients needed to cook up some real brain food. Hitting the UK in August this year, no doubt there will be more clips to come.
Nothing new coming out of Hollywood nowadays. 21 Jump Street, Footloose, The 3 Stooges, everything now is a remake. And they wonder why they're losing money.
