This hit me as I was reading over at Weasel Zippers.... I have no idea what is means to sacrifice
this much or be as dedicated as these guys, and most of our armed forces, are.
I can sit safely at my desk and surf the internet for funny pictures, blog about meaningless crap,
and go home safe every night because of people like this.
Photos and Info on the Fallen
These Pictures and short description of the NAVY SEALS 1 and NAVY SEALS 2
brings home the sacrifice and the fact that they paid the ultimate price.
I hope their loss isn't in vain.
“May the choirs of angels
Come to greet you
May they speed you to Paradise
May the Lord enfold you in His Mercy
May you find
Eternal Life”
From “Song of Farewell”, sung often at the end of Funeral Masses.
Requiescat in pacem
(prayer from a commenter at weasel zippers)
H/T to Weasel Zippers
My fear, every day he is away.
