The Widow Maker...
During a hike yesterday, I crested a short rise and was greeted with this.
Sorry, no banana for reference, so the picture doesn't capture the true size of this.
Rough guess is the bottom of that trunk is 10-12 feet above the ground.
The trail passes directly under it.
I paused, listened for minute, then passed under it sticking to the side with
the larger tree.
The picture is taken showing the direction from which I had travelled.
No sign of Arnold or the Predator.
It's obviously been there a while but sooner or later gravity will change that.

I Don't Get It
Neither does the advertisment interest me. I am writing of the fixation/obsession with the jean commerical. You know, the one with the skinny girl that has what looks like a pair of "bolt-ons". I saw this spoof on The Babyalon Bee's YT site (another search) and I thought it contained about the same "mental-caloric" value.. It is not as pretty, but somewhat funnier.
