More will probably follow. News travels slow in rural areas and sometimes, it not reported at all. I read a story on "Cullman Daily", a reputable news outlet based in the area (one of the links I posted), but had to type in Nicholas Griffith, cattle theft, etc.). Look close in the photos. The leaves on the big oak have been "browned" and the smoke is barely visible above the crime scene tape.

ReplyDeleteObviously it was a climate change caused fire. Too bad he wasnt in it at the time, could have blamed the white guy for the climate change also unless the fact that he was taking a bath in kerosene at the time could change things..

ReplyDeleteCattle Rustlin has always been alive and well, especially when prices are where they are today. Nothing new, vigilante justice solves a lot of problems.

DeleteThe real money is made by the big 4 meat packers: Tyson, Cargill, JBS, and National Beef who run 85% of the beef in this country. (Ironic since JBS is a Brazilian conglomerate).
They control all beef prices.

ReplyDeleteHe was a wonderful and charitable man. He ran a still in the woods. He left his 2 beloved bulldogs (before they were bred with flat faces) to guard the still. A thief came and killed his dogs. The person probably could have gotten away with the theft, but killing the dogs....
Soon the culprit was bragging about what he did and eventually local chatter came to K.D.
The man's barn burnt to the ground.
A guy came onto my rural property, inquiring about his dog having gotten loose. I hadn't seen it, but did say there had been herd commotion.
ReplyDeleteLater, I walked out back, saw a large adult dog ranging in "predator" mode. I quickly drew and fired a handgun, being out tending my herd.
Subsequently I found a deceased (description of dog) out back.
After having lost beef cattle to depreciation, the score tally bumped my way.

So let me get this straight...this dude ALL BY HIMSELF....rustles 10 head of cattle?!!?!? Where were these cows living? In a pasture? In a barn? We are to believe that ONE GUY was able to load up 10 beef cows all by his liddle ol' lonesome.....Yeah, right.
