Unternehmen: Wacht Am Rhein

79 years ago today the Germans launched their last offensive on the Western Front of WW2. The allies did not believe the Germans were capable of launching an offensive this late in the war, but they were and came close to changing the outcome of the war.  The western offensive of the winter of 1944 was codenamed "watch on the Rhine" (header). I always had an interest in what became known as "The Battle of the Bulge" because my granddaddy was there in one of the AAA outfits attached to the 101st. The cold and hunger during the siege of Bastogne was one of the few stories he told me of the war (I believe the winter of '44/'45 was the coldest on record for Europe). Anyhow, a fellow WW2 enthusiast passed along this article from Beaches of Normandy tours  pertaining to that battle fought in a cold distant land long ago and the man who made a famous one word reply when asked by the enemy to surrender back when America was well, you know.

Casper Wyoming Back In The Day... Any Readers Recognize This?

One of the FFFF images that I posted last night was this one.

I was able to make out the sign on the right hand side that says "Casper Corral" with the horse and cowboy sign on the roof.

After some google-fu I found this:

and here it is today "street view"  2022. The old Casper Corral is on the right after the white van.

The road back in the 1970's carried 2 travel lanes and a parking lane.

What Do They Call It?..... Predictive Programming? Updated

Predictive Programming is theory that the government or other higher-ups are using fictional movies or books as a mass mind control tool to make the population more accepting of planned future events. This was first described and proposed by researcher Alan Watt who defines Predictive programming as “Predictive programming is a subtle form of psychological conditioning provided by the media to acquaint the public with planned societal changes to be implemented by our leaders. If and when these changes are put through, the public will already be familiarized with them and will accept them as natural progressions, thus lessening possible public resistance and commotion.” (Wood)

So, that being defined we have the latest movie from Netflix being discussed on a lot of social media.

Leave The World Behind.  About a massive cyber attack woven with wokness.

Then, I just saw this trailer below posted on twitter.

It's due to come out next year.  Both these movies are examples

of what a lot of people think this country could morph into the coming years. Either parts

of that change or together.  Just interesting that these movies are coming out at a time

when one looks back on history and can see other examples of predictive programming.

If you are paying attention, you know.

Regarding Leave The World Behind ( Me, I haven't seen it but I've read a bunch of reviews that all say about the same thing.) This one here is the Creme de la creme.

Spoiler alert:

You're welcome.

Interesting

Due to my natural aversion to anything that comes out of Hollywood (not that this movie did), I'm skeptical of new releases. Somehow, I missed this movie back in 2016. After seeing the movie and the storyline, it is no wonder the movie did not get a lot of publicity/mentions. TPTB cannot afford to have people wake up and see what is happening. The good guys in the film are the patriots and the bad guys, well they are the NWO/one world government bunch. I was expecting a low budget, cheesy, shoot-'em-up, but that wasn't the case. It was a pretty good film considering the budget, but it wasn't Gone With The Wind. I can see where it might open some eyes. To have been made seven years ago, the movie is prophetic regarding the "surveillance state", civil unrest, etc. On a scale of 1-10, I'd give it a 7.
