Daniel Penny,
The lawyers have set up a GIVESENDGO donation for his defense
Good for them, I'm sure "go fund me" would have canceled one if they set one up there.
They have raised almost a million dollars for his defense.
From the fund:
Daniel Penny is, a twenty-four-year-old college student and decorated Marine veteran, facing a criminal investigation stemming from him protecting individuals on a NYC subway train from an assailant who later died. Funds are being raised to pay Mr. Penny’s legal fees incurred from any criminal charges filed and any future civil lawsuits that may arise, as well as expenses related to his defense. All contributions are greatly appreciated. Any proceeds collected which exceed those necessary to cover Mr. Penny’s legal defense will be donated to a mental health advocacy program in New York City.
(My bold, I think this is a waste of money. It will be squandered and looted and not be used to properly address the situation of mental health in NYC. They would be better off donating the extra proceeds to a veterans group that has a proven track record of helping those in need.)
I just happened up this story the other day.
It's amazing what you can do when you just up and say eff-it.
What's sad is, Here we are, 70 years later, and most likely, there is no way you could ever do this.
..trainwreck. I think she's related to Nancy Pelosi.
Here is the view when I went to it today.
IF you play around on the different setting pages there are a ton of different toggles that can be turned off and on and data that can be changed. You can also open up the hamburger in the upper left hand corner and see more toggles for data. I have no idea what data points were being shown on the "end of the world" fire map snap shots I posted yesterday.
Below this image is on with the aerosols map layer turned on. You can still see large residuals in Canada and less in New England.
To get there I turned on the "layers" tab and clicked on OMPS Aerosols The little "i" toggle defined what that is in the snapshot below.
Poke around on the site if you like. See what you can find <<<
I may go back to my earlier post and see how it was configured to give all those data points.
