...and THAT is exactly why you should NEVER be on any social media and if any relatives or friends start linking stuff on their SM to you via email or text, tell them to stop that stuff. Bad enough once they do link you to their SM account you're screwed because google, facefook et al now have you in their grasp and there's NOTHING you can do to remove it, as this lady just found out.
At least in Europe, one of the few things they've done right recently, they now have laws that make privacy fairly easy. Yet, Google recently settled a privacy case there for $millions which they fought tooth and nail.
Facefook's case is, I believe still ongoing, but they're going to lose too.
Make's you wonder why they're willing to spend mega bucks on things that they ought to be doing as a good business practice.
That's why a lot of people use handles, like Nemo, when posting to sites like this one. Not that a handle can't be traced with determined effort, but using one instead of your name makes it a little more difficult
Let's face it, the internet would be a much less interesting place if using your real name was required for every posting. You think Flock's systems or any of the 3LTR.gov agencies are bad, imagine the speech stifling if real names were required for every comment you make anywhere.
It's not exactly a secret that the Zuck has no scruples and Meta will do whatever it wants with whatever you post and whatever they can harvest from your devices.
Did you read the terms of service that gives them the rights to any and all information posted on their site?
