It is quite amazing the musicianship and dedication these guys showed
in the production of this song.
For the record, I realize some may HATE! this song. Some haven't heard it for a while and some
Love this song. This isn't about the song itself. It's about the 70's and the music and what
these artists worked on for weeks or months to MAYBE have a hit or more possibly a flop.
Watch it for the technical aspect of putting this all together. Or, maybe the drugs were that good.
I always thought this was one of the great songs of that era. The opening and the instrumental portions carry you to another place that are just spectacular IMHO.Never knew how it was made. Thanks.

PS FYI The official "I'm not in Love" video on Zoo Tube segue's into Carol King's also very good "It's to Late" with Danny Kootch on guitar.
Very interesting video, especially as I have been enamored with this song since it first came out. It was obviously very intricately engineered, but I really had no idea to what degree until now. As for the whispered, female lyric, I always thought it was "Be poised and quiet", not "Big boys don't cry".
