I don't believe this guy is just your average citizen from Australia. I grew up around guns and some very good "shooters" and I am not sure I've ever seen anyone as smooth as this fellar.
Its a straight pull rifle like a k-31. See him pull up his head each time he cycles and then has to reacquire sight picture, he is not good, he is proficient but not good. Your cheek stays attached on a straight pull and most standard bolts, you do not lift your head every time you cycle..
Agree with sight discipline, and agree it is a straight pull. The sight also looks to be a non-magnifying dot ot illuminated reticle type. That can decrease the time it takes to acquire the target, but does not give fine tuned aiming. If you know a few things, such a sight can really work. That, however, doesn't negate this asshat having been trained to a degree. Props to the person that intervened.
Points for courage, minus 3 points for not putting two in his chest when he gained control of the weapon. But restore points deducted since he got shot mostly due to his mistake and he should have learned the lesson.
The 'hero' didn't shoot because he is one of them. I'm gonna say it right here, until I know better I think this was a set up. At a celebration of a Jewish holiday, the good guy was also a muslim? That defies the odds. I think they got their victims and the noteriety. Nut with the good guy being one of them it puts the kibosh on blaming the whole lot. See, the religion of piece really is about peace. Expect to see this tactic again. Yes, they are that clever. They adapt, but not assimilate to Western culture.
Answer this, at least three muslim in a gathering for a Jewish celebration. Two shooters, one was the hero. How many of the victims were muslim, or ideologically aligned?
Before rag heads immigrated to the free world they were busy killing other rag heads because the other rag heads belonged to a different sect of Islam. Send them all back to their third world shit holes so they can get back to killing each other. Leave us the hell alone.

The Christ Church shooter had a similar bent and there is a video out where the shooter is outed as fake right down to the "code" written on his gun. Clown world truly is global!!!
