Morning Swim

Hopefully, the link is working now.

The best I could do was a screen shot. I am not on Instagram and I apologize for sending such an "abortion" as this, but it is the only way I could post it. The reel is of some bucks swimming across the lake about a mile south of where I live (good sign). Have a great weekend!  Link (repaired)

    1. That sounds like a lot of liberals I know. They hold positions of authority and expound on things the of which they have zero knowledge. Then, they have a meltdown when anyone questions their position. I hope your son's teacher had a complete and total "come-a-part". Good on your boy. Even though they are very young, I tell my kids to question EVERYTHING, and especially teachers and preachers!

  4. Was driving to work one morning, and there were an unusual number of cars on the side of the Yaquina bay. So I stopped and looked. It was low tide, and there were 5 big branched bull elk stuck in the mud. I work for ODFW, and found that folks were calling to find out if they could hunt them. Nope, not fair chase, and the OSP game cops had to get in their boat to protect them until the tide came in, and they were able to swim off.

  5. Oh, I can believe it Sarthurk. Neither I or vast majority of hunters I know would not should such an unfortunate critter and would probably be helping to rescue the trapped animals. In a life or death situation where starvation is at hand, etc., sure. I'd eagerly kill and eat any animal without thought, but just for the sake of killing? No. Such a thing is like the "high fence hunts". I don't get "it". There is no "sport" in it.
