I'm 75 and never heard of these songs (or groups). Grew up on Rock'n'Roll and loved the music of the late 60s and 70s. Some 80s, fewer 90s, and almost no 21st century music.

The 80s, where bands went to suck. Rush went from Working Man to Big Money. The 80s showed that cocaine might lead to good movies but crappy music. Hallucinogens make great music.
Agree with Nick. I pretty much abandoned the usual music by 1983 and moved to the Blues and found out why those 60s bands has such depth. I still listened to a few gems, but back then I despised every hair band.
This is the kind of garbage that influenced me to get away from mainstream rock in the 80's.
ReplyDeleteWith very few exceptions the " music " died around 1985
