At first glance, I was thinking Mogadishu

Then, I noticed the bricks and cars. I have seen a couple of reports regarding this story. Keyun Marquez Hill of Cowart, AL was arrested and charged with possession of a hoax device while filming this stunt. I was unaware of this statue and at this point see the potential for abuse (i.e. the kid who owns a de-milled grenade, etc.), but we'll save that for another post on some other day. Anyhow, they locked up Keyun. Here is the rest of the STORY.

    1. You're close. The sequence of events should be:
Bang bang bang bang bang bang bang bang bang
      "Drop the weapon!"

  2. The police should just assume that it is real and let SWAT blow him away.

    1. I was thinking Keyun just needs an orange life preserver and hard hat. Then he would be in business.

  9. As a militaria collector, I own a de-milled RPG-7, as well as some other similar items. I sure as f%q don't take them out of the house unless they're wrapped up in a blanket or a box. They are cool toys, though.

  10. I grew up in the mid 60’s till the mid 70’s in Houston. I am talking about every color of people. It is so corrupt from the top down to the dishwasher now. Everyone is nice and friendly but they are all con men. Every old Houstonite And mostly honest white folks moved out like I did in the mid 70’s. There was 4% Mexican and hardly no Asians. Now there is 35% or more Mexican, 12% Asian and the blacks mostly have turned communist. Which is about 20%. It was a vibrant happy city back then. It’s a shithole and the rest of the folks are white trash whether they wear a suit or are grease monkeys. And still it’s better than most Yankee cities.

    1. FWIW, the City Of Houston is in HARRIS County, Texas. The writing on the wall of this photo says 'Houston County", so, wherever it is, it is NOT in Houston, Texas. Maybe in Georgia, maybe in Tennessee, maybe in Alabama, or even someplace else in Texas, but NOT the City Of Houston.

  11. It is in Alabama. I believe it was Dothan PD that nabbed Keyun.

  12. There are things, relatively harmless pranks and then there's stupidity as in the story.

  13. Regardless, you don’t walk into any area with what appears to be a RPG. After the first “Drop it”, he gets dropped. Not going to wait to see what he could do. He’s already declared his intent by his/its presence.

  14. Is this idiot looking to be the next George Floyd? Or perhaps someone smarter and more evil paid him to do the stunt hoping he became the next GF. Why is his companion standing right there recording the whole thing? The left is looking for a new face/shooting/death to be their poster child. God knows they cannot win with their principles and values.
