When your number comes up..........................
It appears that is just what happened to a 64 year old Pennsylvania grandmother as she was searching for her cat. The grandmother is missing and there was a sinkhole next to her car that had just appeared. A shoe was seen about thirty feet below as authorities began their search. The woman's 5 year old granddaughter was found in the car around 3 a.m. saying her grandmother never came back.
Lot's of old small mine companies in PA never mapped or charted the mining work. Mine subsidence insurance can be expensive in some areas. If the air is clean (no CO2, CO or H2SO4) the mine may be open to the atmosphere.
yeah. there are a lot of old mine shafts here in pa. also you find air shafts as well. great place to dump a body if you need to get rid/hide one. also too a lot of them fill up with water so there is a chance of drowning in one too. pays to really check out topo maps of any area you plan on moving too. I did. dave in pa.
