  1. I'm getting close to the point that I believe that ACAB is true. What a sad change from my youth, some 60 years ago.

    1. It's sad that it took 60 years for you to realize agents of the government are pieces of human garbage. It's unfortunate that you probably won't realize they were always this way...even in your youth.

    2. Exactly. It is pretty darn obvious every single day.

  2. "“We are very disappointed in Kilgore’s conduct,” said Centre Police Chief Kirk Blankenship"

You'd think the Chief would be asking questions when the arrest rate for illegal drug apprehensions went from almost none to a 138 in three months probably most all from the same officer. Also sounds like criminal conspiracy charges are warranted with the involvement of the K9 officer. What, K9 didn't know what was going on? SSuurree.

    1. Right as usual, Nemo. Chief Blanketyblank should be appalled, shocked, dismayed, or dumbfounded. Even speechless would be better than claiming disappointment. We are disappointed when our child fails a test, steals a candy bar, or a host of other minor incidents. Disappointment is punished with a hand slap.

What Butler and Kilgore did far exceeds "disappointment." These were crimes committed under the color of law.

According to Federal statute, Title 18, Section 242:

"Whoever, under color of any law, statute, ordinance, regulation, or custom, willfully subjects any person in any State, Territory, Commonwealth, Possession, or District to the deprivation of any rights, privileges, or immunities secured or protected by the Constitution or laws of the United States, ... shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than one year, or both; and if bodily injury results from the acts committed in violation of this section or if such acts include the use, attempted use, or threatened use of a dangerous weapon, explosives, or fire, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than ten years, or both; and if death results from the acts committed in violation of this section or if such acts include kidnapping or an attempt to kidnap, aggravated sexual abuse, or an attempt to commit aggravated sexual abuse, or an attempt to kill, shall be fined under this title, or imprisoned for any term of years or for life, or both, or may be sentenced to death."

I disagree with the law as written. Crimes committed under the color of authority belong in a special category. The culprit should be publicly hanged.

  3. From the article:
"Kilgore is no longer employed by Centre police. Multiple efforts to reach Kilgore for comment were unsuccessful. His attorney in the case is not listed yet."

Well, isn't that just fucking convenient?

  4. People don't appreciate how the criminal/immoral/unconstitutional war on drugs has just been a cover for a war on freedom and liberty. Gun and property seizures have been the primary hallmark of the war, not drugs. 110 years of abject failure are more than enough.

  5. Cops like that should be put with gen pop in prison to be ass raped for life.

  6. Sadly, we'll never know how many of his buddies were involved in his scam. The penalty for this type of criminal act should be a long drop on a short rope. The same for any cop that knows about it and doesn't act swiftly to stop it.

    1. You forgot the chain of command. Whose literally literal JOB is to keep the rank & file in line. Claiming "I didn't know" is no defense. When that's you're only job.

  7. my grandfather was a peace officer in rowley,MA. he hated "law enforcement". he called them "window peekers", always looking for the next ticket to write, the next arrest, to justify their existence and suck up to the people in charge..and to be clear, that ain't you or me, that's the chief and the mayor or council. you and me are just walking bags of cash waiting to be tapped.

a peace officer would ask you to slow down the first few times, then maybe give you a ticket. he didn't want to go to court any more than you did.

from everything I've read the german police in france treated the french far better than our own police treat us.

  8. Thanks Irish for finally showing Jeffery in Alabama picture... .Too bad it was his most recent mug shot. I use to go around that area and up to Ballpark for good pulled pork barbecue. I think Gen Pop as Ace above suggested as a good long term punishment.

  10. Local cops with FBI met my friend when he taxied in after landing. Frankly, they wanted his twin engine high performance aircraft with all the instrumentation pilots often dream about.

While two distracted him, a third planted drugs in his aircraft. They arrested him on all kinds of charges.
What they didn't know, because of thefts of aircraft radios and other electronic gear, he had installed cameras.

The cops were caught red handed. If it wasn't for the video, he surely would have lost his aircraft, his business, and probably his freedom.

    2. Let me guess, the cops got a two week paid vacation while the force swept everything under the rug.

  11. Bottom line IMHO...
If there were many good cops (FBI Agents, ATF Agents, etc) you'd hear a lot more about them turning in/busting the bad ones. But they don't.
Turning a blind eye is the same as being a dirty cop, so...They're all dirty.

  12. And Trump just came out today to sell his new campaign again with an "anti-crime agenda", including making it harder to sue cops.

It is my humble opinion that qualified immunity is one of the reasons the cops are unrestrained to do the things they do. Trump needs to stop listening to his "experts".

    1. According to the complaint, a confidential informant had reported that Kilgore was planting evidence a few days after Blevins’ arrest ...
Some CI had a conscience. How many lives did the cop ruin?

  14. LEO and the Judiciary are NOT FRIENDS OF THE CONSTITUTION!
There are exceptions, there always are, but as a piece they are the enemy of liberty and freedom. Tyrants and bullies.

  15. And how many innocent citizens across the country have been put through hell because of some SOB just like this one?
You know damned well there's a bunch of them.
Police integrity left the building long ago.

  19. Teach me something new if I'm ever confronted by the po-po.
Yes, get out of the car as requested....BUT....roll up the windows, turn off the engine, lock the doors, remove the key from the ignition, close the doors behind you.
Can't drop anything inside the car.
You wanna search the inside of the car? Where's your warrant?

  20. No one in their right mind should ever trust any so-called law enforcement. It's to the point where you need 6 cameras in your vehicle. Front, rear and from the passenger side looking out the driver window, from the interior roof both front and back and one in the trunk. They wonder why as a species, they are hated.

Occasionally, however, they take a breather for an early lunch...
