Hunting wild edible mushrooms this morning.
ReplyDeleteMorels?
DeleteAll mushrooms are edible. Some, only once…
DeleteThe long-term and persistent drought in central to western Kansas/western Oklahoma/Texas Panhandle = total failure of wheat crop in those areas, and Budweiser continues to suck Mulvaney cock, or whatever it is "he" still has.
ReplyDeleteMy old stomping grounds. I've never seen it that bad before. There was always enough moisture for a wheat crop. Dang.
DeleteThats funny our snow has finally melted off the ground. We have more water than Ive ever seen. The mountains still have snow on them around here.
DeleteGuymon, OK in the panhandle has gone 230 days without a quarter inch being recorded. Yep, the wheat will be stunted or non existent.
DeleteThey say climate change, bwahaha. It's just El Niño and La Niña doing their thing since the beginning of weather.
Live 200 miles due south of Guymon in a very rural area, closest ChinaMart is 60 miles, had a six inch snow in February, wind gusted to 40 today, ranchers are culling herds, one dindu fam in the whole county about on the same level as their valedictorian cousins from Chicongo, several implants from may-he-co, but they are hard working folks who are an asset to the community with well behaved kids, climate is always changing here..Only thing that don’t change is the wind....oh yeah and the number of registered democrats....13 and holding

ReplyDeletefrom Australia- our funniest person Micallef
ReplyDeleteHad 80's here in western ny the last two days, 38 for a high tomorrow
ReplyDeleteGot somehere between a trace and knee-deep of snow yesterday, best guess 4-6" with around 40 mph sustained winds.
ReplyDeleteEverything pretty much melted, then the rains came Saturday and turned to snow overnight.
Flood season has been turbocharged.
Saw on the Weather Channel what the St Louis River looks like.
DeleteOoo-ee... I used to canoe that river when I worked on The Range!
Vegas is vegas. Prices going up. Mexicans are arrogant and rude just like the elbow grows
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Spring weather in south central North Carolina!
ReplyDeleteGetting the greenhouse built, just put a small diesel gen set on line, staying frosty and stacking PM (lead).
ReplyDeleteCloudy here in the North Kakalacky piedmont. Gonna grab a cup of coffee and make my morning Passage to India explaining "No. We hired you to do that coding. I won't do it for you."
ReplyDeleteSW Idaho here. Former Californian. Every day the general news and events make me glad we got out of the urban environment.
ReplyDeleteThe Covid insanity still clings on as healthcare still requires a mask for medical visits. Although, enough staff at these venues fail to wear their masks effectively show how pathetic the mandates were and still are.
Prices of ammo are still high, although availability is better.
A friend is in Real Estate and her office is a ghost town.
Also SW Idaho. "A friend is in Real Estate and her office is a ghost town". About time - too many "them" have arrived already
DeleteAlmost heaven here in western middle Tn. Rumors of mechanized Hispanics camping in the woods one county east of here, 30 miles closer to Nashville. NOT looking forward to spicy times.
ReplyDeleteDowneast Maine. 40's drizzle. Just another day waiting and building for the future. Fields to plow, wood to cut and stack, fences to build.
ReplyDeleteReal-estate smoking hot. Buyers from city offering $20k over asking and waiving inspections...and they are still losing bids.
ReplyDeleteReasons for visiting city falling off. That is a good thing.
Big garden going in. Treating it like a job.
My one kid who moved out of the area is moving back. YEAH!!! Her husband is a very hard worker and will be much appreciated.
Good for you Joe. Sounds like he really woke up.
DeleteOn duty at the firehouse until 6PM today in rural eastern Kommiecticut. Along with the usual fire and EMS calls, the little bit of rain we've had has done nothing to lessen the wild fire danger. The material on the forest floors are fully cured and burns more ferociously than normal. We do not wear our structural turn out gear; its jeans, boots, flannel shirt, work gloves, and a helmet. When you're done you stink, you're soaked, and filthy. Then we return to quarters to wash hose and clean equipment.
ReplyDeleteOnce the trees get their full leaf canopy and we get some soaking rain, we won't have to worry about it again until late fall.
Below freezing to near 80 today, I must be where if you don't like the weather wait 10 minutes it will change.
ReplyDeleteI notice this morning the lame stream media (cbs) is trying to memory hole the Alabama shooting with a Kansas shooting(abc). Another amish kid supposedly entered the wrong house, (his friend I think) my guess one of those racist whypeeppo owned the house but did not stick around to confirm that information.
Western Dakota here.
ReplyDeleteClear, sunny, mid-60s today. Snow's all gone. For now.
Got the boat out of storage & cleaned it up yesterday. Getting ready to hit the lake for the wily walleye.
But then, the weather prognosticator predicts typical spring iffy weather for later in this week.
Ice isn't all off yet, either.
Maybe you can find all those firearms that fell out of the boat when it tipped over last summer
DeleteNZer holidaying in France.
ReplyDeleteCold and wet when we got here.
Sunny and hot now.
Wine half the price of what we pay at home. Blissful.
County passed a bylaw finally allowing chickens on proprty under 20 acreas but no more than 5, no roosters and no chicks....
ReplyDeleteTurdeau still sucks WEF cock, looks like all the big investment companies have pulled out of taiwan stocks last week, likely means china about to move on them.

N central Ohio here. Garden expanded and tilled, greenhouse almost done, freezer full, shelves stocked
ReplyDeleteNE Ohio, garden tilled and waiting for the last frost. Bought an old backhoe and digging in a root cellar for carrots, winter squash etc. waiting for uncle joe to ban everything under the sun, guns, stoves, and gas pickups and tax anything else, water and breathing. I hate this government…..Lord help us.
ReplyDeleteIt's national crawfish day. Think I'll make an Crawfish Etouffee for dinner. Better get to peeling I reckon.
ReplyDeleteGoing to be a beautiful day in NE Texas. Been on vacation for over a week and it's been nice the whole time. Have worked in the yard, done some fishing, and a lot of relaxing. Back to the work grind tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteOut here in the SLUT (SLC, UT) hinterlands.
ReplyDeleteA somewhat late spring, sunny 70 degs one day, rainy 50 degs the next.
With 200% of normal snowfall this year, everyone and their dog is watching out and sandbagging for flooding.
President Elect B Woodman
Up in da Nort Countree here, got half a foot of snow over night and winds high enough to make a tree house into a garden shed. Wut? Me wooree? Not today-- going back into hibernation 'til walleye fishing opener.
ReplyDeletein.
A few miles North of Longview Texas we've been getting enough rain to make spring nice. The wildflowers are looking good this year. The insanity that grips the big democrat cities is not something we deal with.
ReplyDeleteApopka Florida here, weather has been perfect and the garden shows it. Didn't get cold enough for peaches this year. Spring plants are fruiting up and most of the summer stuff is planted. Looks to be a banner year for the spring pumpkins and potatoes. Planted sorghum for the first time and it has really taken off with almost no failures along the rows. Butterflies everywhere. Raining today so the garden expansion I have planed will have to wait a day. Don't want to melt. Thinking about raising bees and maybe a still.
ReplyDeleteSouth central Alaska still have two foot of snow but slowly melting. It’s a late “breakup” this year. No clouds per-say but dusty/foggy look due to Ruskie volcanoes blowing ash this way. Anchorage International Airport was canceling 80 flights the other day. Temps starting to stay above freezing. Just another day in the Great Land.Sez,1st ANGLICO
ReplyDeleteMid-70s and a light breeze in Charleston SC. Gave a pint of blood, saved three lives, and got a COOKIE! Cleaned up the gear from this weekend' State Guard drill. Water Rescue RULES!
ReplyDeleteregistered my garden with the USDA, along with notifying them of animals in the house and their gender identity and pronouns. Also let them know that we are vegan. narc'd on new neighbors because they had an American flag on one of their fossil-fueled vehicles.
ReplyDeletebwah hahahaha......just kidding...
down here just south of the Appalachian Redoubt having pleasant weather, garden is coming along. planning some camping and fishing trips soon. thankfully, in this part of the country we are a bit sheltered from the horrors of blue cities, but urban sprawl is a very real thing. soul-crushing to see apartment complex after apartment complex go up in the area. all I ever see when one of these goes up is increased population density, low-income, low-IQ, domestic violence riddled trash.
still working on getting stronger every day. kids need a good example. something positive to look up to.
waiting on Jesus to come back, but preparing for it to get a lot worse here until He does. keep your powder dry fellas.
New Zealand continues to slide downhill with the new Prime Minister unable to define what a woman is.

East Tennessee here. Enjoying a sunny day. Upper 50s to low 60s. Doing laundry while my wife slaves away over a hot keyboard.
ReplyDeleteNW Corrupticut, will have to mow the lawn this week. Spring flowers are all up, we have gotten some rain yesterday and today, but it has been too dry. Today it is 55 and light rain, last week we hit 90 two days in a row, pollen sucks! The democRat controlled legislature wants to enact even more roadblocks to self defense.
ReplyDeleteBack home in NE Ohio from a beautiful road trip through Central PA this weekend. Weather went from 60s last week to currently snowing/sleeting/raining. Getting seeds ready for indoor starts and raised beds ready for transplants. Hoist the black flags mates!
ReplyDeleteGreen beans are popping up.
ReplyDeleteHere in the Great State of Jefferson, we are cloudy, Mid-60's. All is green and lush- got three of twelve beds tilled, one garage organized, power back on in the outbuilding, and the guest bathroom redone. We are very remote; no jogging issues here. This year's emphasis is chickens, pigs, and the vege garden. Assuming the worst, and secure in the knowledge that evil never lasts.
ReplyDeleteMade chili. Best thing for a cold spring week.
ReplyDeleteNewcastle Australia here. A nice sunny day. We are headed into Autumn and it looks to be amild winter (it always is). The country is stable and the only tranny stuff we get here comes from elsewhere, I pray for you guys every night that God will punish those evil men profiting off the death and misery of the little guy.
ReplyDeleteCentral Missouri enjoying upper 60's and planted potatoes the other day. Bees are out pollinating fruit trees.
ReplyDeleteNorthern Michigan here. Saturday I was in shorts and a t-shirt, mid 80's. Right now, Monday eve. 35 deg and snowing. Waiting for the world to fall apart. 36 weeks to retirement.
ReplyDeleteNo Amish here; life is good.
ReplyDeleteCentral Michigan. Everything is the same as most years here even with inflation and having a communist governess. More druggies and phone zombies prowl our rural areas now. Planting season is just around the corner and we have increased our beef herd. We will stayed locked and stocked and will continue to look after the like minded that live amongst us. There is still a lot of good and a lot of good people here, but we don't put up with any shit and aren't about to start.
ReplyDeleteSeeing more sun now in the interior of Alaska. Still cooler temperatures and although not a significant issue, the snow continues to fall.
ReplyDeleteSouth Dakota is trying very hard to shove all four seasons into one week.

Australia here, housing and land packages costing around $1.2m and $1.8m in my neck of the woods. That is for houses around 200sqm and land at 450sqm. Larger blocks cost more. Acreage within 10km of town is around $2m plus with house and infrastructure. Idiot govt planning on importing 300000 additional asians this year alone in addition to the university students. Average rents for apartments are $600 per week with houses a lot more. Petrol around $2.15 a litre. And this is in the region around the capital Canberra which is 300km from sydney on the east coast. I think it will not be long before we are in a full blown recession. The entire mainland is now governed by labor - read communists.
ReplyDeleteJust spent a week in SLC area, unbelievable amount of snow in the Wasatch Mts. Meanwhile in SE Wyoming nearly everyone is prepping on one level or another, lots of activity at the local ranges and on ranchlands, way above normal.
