As with my fellow anonymous commentators above, I would like to add the fourth meme. Back when I was growing up in the 60s and 70s, corporations could only own a few radio and television media outlets. These were mostly local media groups whose news appealed to their local audience. This was a time when we could agree to disagree and everything was not so black and white…except perhaps your television screen. We need to dissolve the corporate media ownership of so many broadcasting outlets.
