Irish - I will work on this problem diligently today and wait for your solution tonight. Does this mean we will have a question to help us identify a submission by one of the well endowed readers?
Did anyone check to see if there was a complete Hamiltonian Operator for the wave function psi? If not then the solution will likely resolve as two probability distributions that when mapped out will resemble the saddle point between two shapely moiunds.
The answer is zero not FFF. I highly advise against no FFFF for tonight Irish, I don't care how busy you think you are. That Logan's Run from the hills of New Hampsha will be like going down a long and winding road with a tunnel and a single light at the end with all of us chasing you.
the solution is..... (sorry don't have the greek symbol)
ReplyDeletePi(R)square
Sorry. Pie are round. Cake are square.
DeleteCobbler are square.
DeleteCornbread. Cornbread are square.
DeleteNot when I cook it in my 100yr old cast iron skillet.
DeleteNot the corncob shaped moulded skillet ones.

ReplyDeleteThe answer to everything. Now, what is the question?
DeleteWhat's 6 times 9?
DeleteIt's in the BBC Radio serial. Really.
Whatever those equations are, they're well beyond my meager math capabilities. I struggled to get a passing grade in Algebra II, 60 odd year ago.

DeleteLOL good one! Nemo
DeleteImpossible to solves without values for the variables. This is just a formula.

ReplyDeleteIf my math is correct (which is highly unlikely), this is a formula for a double parabola.

ReplyDeleteLooks like the Schrödinger wave equation, but it’s been a while.
