My opinion on this nonsense is summed up as "On Halloween wear whatever costume you want. You're not from Krypton? I don't care, dress like Superman or Clark Kent if you want. If someone complains or accuses you of appropriating Kryptonian culture, inform them that they are in charge of their own decisions not yours."
