A Couple More German Beers Around The Hobo Fire..
"Irish, where are you getting all those German beers?" you might be asking.
Well, one of the guys at work has a son-in-law that is a pilot in the Air Force and he brought back a half dozen of these really cool Beer Advent Calendars similar to this:
A tasty treat!!
What day is it again?
ReplyDeleteNext Wednesday was a good year eh?
You are lucky in one aspect bud, if I tried to light a fire like that around here the fire department would be here before the smoke got three blocks away and I would be looking at a very large fine.
Fuckin' socialists around here anyway.
I'm still in the "Live Free or Die" state. Sadly we are slowly being consumed by leftardists.....
DeleteEvacuation plans are in the beginning stages of preparation. ( It will be a loooong plan though )
In 1982 my wife and I drove around Germany on a mix of autobahns and secondary roads, staying in "zimmer frei" B&B's wherever we felt like.
ReplyDeleteEvery town had its own brewery and the local kneipe featured their beers.
Wow, just wow.
I spent 10 days over there. Munich,Salzberg and Innsbruck. The food and beer was amazing.
DeleteEnvious.
ReplyDeleteWant!
As good as they are, watch out after 3-4 of them. They kick arse.
ReplyDeleteThat's why I only had "2".. maybe 3 :)
DeleteHow do the two beers taste, in the pic?
ReplyDeleteThey were all pretty good. I tried a few at a time and would say they all would be one's I would try again.
DeleteSome other good German beers for your consideration:
ReplyDeleteRadeberger, pilsner from far eastern side of Germany.
Grevensteiner, by C&A Veltins, naturally cloudy rural style beer.
König, pilsner.
Erdinger Weissbrau
I like the Konig and the Erdinger. I'll see if my pack has the others you mention
